dc.description.abstract	The purpose of the dissertation is to study the prospects of ITS application in the street-road network of a small city, to increase traffic safety, road capacity and manage the organization of traffic at the required level. This research examined the classification of cities and the characteristics of the organization of traffic in the street-road network. ITS application areas were analyzed and their characteristics were determined.
